After graduation, he stayed for another 2 years before joining Prentiss Properties Limited, Inc. in Dallas as a property manager of office buildings. He was relocated to Los Angeles, Austin, Ft. Worth and back to Dallas again.
In 1995, Bob joined CMD Realty Investors in Dallas where he served as a Regional VP of Asset Management and Leasing. While there, he negotiated and signed leases representing over 6 million square feet and a half a billion dollars of value.
After 20 years, Bob left the landlord side of the business and opened REATA Commercial Realty, Inc. in 2004 to exclusively serve tenants. His goal is to use his 20 years of landlord experience for the benefit of the companies and non-profits which are tenants in or buyers of office and warehouse buildings.
He serves on the board of My Possibilities – a day program for adults with disabilities. He is a Texas real estate broker, has earned the designations of Certified Property Manager and Certified Commercial Investment Member, is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and is a past board member of the Building Owner’s & Managers Association and The Institute of Real Estate Management. He earned a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
